"Aqua World Ibaraki Prefectural Oarai Aquarium" is one of the largest aquariums in Japan.
It is also famous for having the largest number of shark species in Japan.
Divided into 9 areas, you can enjoy spectacular exhibits such as the "Ocean Sunfish Tank", "Dolphins and Sea Lions Ocean Live", and "Fantastic Jellyfish Tank".

“IWASHI LIFE” is a popular program in which a shoal of about 15,000 sardines is powerfully moving in the sea of Ibaraki.　
You can enjoy the show that the fish move to match the music and the ray.

In the "Great Sea Tank of Encounter", about 20,000 creatures of about 80 species are bred, including the popular sea turtles.
There is a food court with 12 stores, and you can enjoy your meal while looking out at the Pacific Ocean.
