What to Expect

The most famous place in the zoo is the Monkey Kingdom, where hundreds of wild Japanese macaques live. The monkeys are divided into Group A and Group B, with about 200 and 100 monkeys respectively (some reports have mentioned that the total number is about 500, which may change over time). Visitors can observe the monkeys' living habits up close, such as mother monkeys holding their cubs and monkeys swinging on swings.
