What to Expect

The Dolphin Farm Shimanami is located in Imabari City, Ehime Prefecture. It is one of the largest dolphin aquariums in Japan with a total water surface area of 13,000 m² and a total land surface area of 10,800 m². The aquarium offers different options for playing with the dolphins such as the Interacting Course and the Swimming Course. In the Interacting Course, you can touch the dolphins and enjoy feeding them by the platform. In the Swimming Course, you can either swim alongside the dolphins or hold on to their dorsal fin and glide on the water. The aquarium comes fully equipped with shower rooms, changing rooms, and waiting areas. There is also the Dolphin Farm Auto Camping Ground which was recently added in April 2018.
