What to Expect
The Edo-Tokyo Architectural Garden is an outdoor museum built for the purpose of relocation, preservation, restoration and display and inheritance of historical buildings. It was built in the Metropolitan Koganei Park. It is famous for Hayao Miyazaki's "Spirited Away". The exhibition area is divided into indoor and outdoor areas. A total of 27 restored buildings were constructed in the park from the Edo period to the early Showa period. Visitors can come here to experience the street scene of Japan's Edo period.
