The aquarium is divided into three areas, the seawater aquarium, the freshwater aquarium, and the seal hall. The seawater aquarium is 723 meters above sea level and has sharks, emperor penguins, king crabs, etc. It is the highest seawater aquarium in Japan. There are more than 150 kinds of other large fish such as electric eels and piranhas in the freshwater hall. In addition to seals, there are various turtles in the seal museum. There are not many people playing, and children can enjoy watching without being disturbed. Next to the aquarium is the Komagatake Cable Car. You can take a 7-minute cable car ride to the top of Komatakekou, overlooking the entire Lake Ashi and Mount Fuji in the distance.
