The Hakone Optional Pass offers a convenient and affordable way to explore Hakone and nearby area. Valid for 2 to 3 days, this pass lets you travel as much as you want.

It’s perfect for hopping on and off local transport in Hakone, so you can take in amazing views of Mount Fuji, explore Hakone Open Air Museum, and check out the area’s hot springs and ryokan.

• Surcharges for Romancecar listed are for a one-way trip between Shinjuku Station and Hakone-Yumoto Station.

• Applies to children 6 to 11 years of age.

• Save 50 yen compared to the price above if you purchase a reserved seat ticket through our online service ‘EMot Online Tickets’. *Reserved seat tickets between Odawara and Hakone-Yumoto can only be purchased at the platform when available seats are left on the day.

Fuji-Hakone Pass

Notes:

· You can only use the Odakyu Line (departure station to Odawara Station) for one round-trip. However, there are no restrictions on getting off the train midway.

Even if you only take a one-way Odakyu Line trip, the unused portion is non-refundable.

· Romantic Express requires an additional fee.

Additional tickets must be purchased when traveling beyond the designated section or passing through stations outside the covered area.

- Passengers with reserved tickets are given priority on the Odakyu Highway Bus. If the bus is full, passengers without reservations cannot board.

- If the Hakone area suspends operations due to inclement weather or other reasons, preventing customers from using the transportation, refunds can be processed at the Odakyu Sightseeing Service Center at Shinjuku West Exit or Odawara (only applicable to customers who have not used the transportation at all).

· The pass will be collected at the final station of your journey.

· Regardless of when the customer starts using the pass, the usage period ends at the end of the transportation service on the 3rd day.

· Not available for Izu Hakone Bus.

- The following transportation services operating between Shinjuku and the applicable areas are not covered by the Fuji-Hakone Pass.

① JR Chuo Line: Shinjuku Station to Otsuki Station

②Express Bus (Chuo Expressway): Shinjuku Express Bus Terminal - Kawaguchiko Station, Fuji-Q Highland, Mt. Fuji Station

③ Odakyu Highway Bus: Shinjuku Expressway Bus Terminal to Tomei Gotemba (Tomei Gotemba to Gotemba Station is free)

• Please note that expired e-vouchers, or e-vouchers that have already been redeemed, are considered invalid.
