What to Expect

Hokkaido Development Village is like an outdoor museum. It is an experience park with the theme of recreating the life, culture, industry and economic history of the pioneering era. It was built in 1983 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Hokkaido. The entire pioneering village is roughly divided into urban groups, fishing villages, rural groups and mountain villages.
