The JR Pass Hokuriku Arch 7-Day Rail Pass allows unlimited rides on JR lines and the Hokuriku Shinkansen within the designated valid area. The pass is valid for seven consecutive days starting from the date of activation. The physical exchange voucher must be exchanged for the actual pass at designated JR stations within 90 days from the date of purchase. The pass is available only to non-Japanese tourists visiting Japan under a short-term stay visa. Eligible visa types include tourist, official, and three-year multiple-entry visas. Long-term visa holders (study, work, or residence visas) are not eligible to purchase or use this pass. Each pass holder may bring up to two children aged 15 years free of charge, provided they do not occupy a reserved seat. The same passenger cannot purchase or redeem multiple identical passes during the same period. The pass cannot be reissued, refunded, or extended once activated, lost, or stolen. The pass is valid for Ordinary Cars (Standard Class) only. Seat reservations can be made at JR ticket offices or automated machines before boarding. Exchange locations and operating hours may change without prior notice; travelers should refer to the official JR West or JR East website for the latest information.
