Okayama Castle is a castle located in Okayama City, Okayama Prefecture, Japan. In the Edo period, it was the seat of the Okayama Domain Hall, also known as Wucheng or Golden Wucheng. It is a designated historical site in Japan. The lord of the Okayama domain, Ikeda Netsuke, appointed Tsuda Nagatada as the acting official of Okayama County (the acting official of the domain lord). The construction began in 4 years, lasted 14 years, and was completed in the 13th year of Genroku. Okayama Castle consists of several small hills more than ten meters above sea level. The Honmaru is located in the area of "Okayama". The west of the city is "Stone Mountain", and the north of the city is "Tenjin Mountain". The design of the castle basically uses the ladder style, there is no rope defense on the east side, and the natural moat is made by Asahikawa.
