Located in Nago City in the northern part of Okinawa Prefecture, Nago Pineapple Park is a theme park filled with tropical fruits and vibrant plants that has become a must-see tourist attraction in Okinawa.
Inside the park, you will get to see subtropical plants, which are rare even in Okinawa, all year round and go around while riding on the automated cart with audio guide that is called "Pineapple SL".
There are 500 varieties of pink quill, a flower that is a part of the pineapple family, as well as rows of palm trees and a tunnel of bottle palms at this park, so you can enjoy the tropical atmosphere.
At the "Palm Tree" restaurant, you can savor Okinawan dishes and the 37cm tall "Big Pineapple Parfait".
You should also shop at the first pineapple winery in Japan and the souvenir corner.
