• This is a one-way ticket that allows you to ride the Thunderbird Express between Osaka/Kyoto and Tsuruga, and the Hokuriku Shinkansen (Tsuruga to Fukui/Kanazawa/Toyama) in both reserved and non-reserved ordinary cars.
• The transfer station for the Limited Express Thunderbird and the Hokuriku Shinkansen isTsuruga Station.

[Instructions]

1. After the booking is successful, the platform will automatically send a booking success email to the email address reserved by the booking guest.

2. Please present the received verification code or QR code and your non-Japanese passport and exchange it for a physical ticket at the designated station ticket machine (see the picture below).

Redemption method:Go to the designated station to find the designated ticket machine shown in the picture above and follow the steps below.

Ticket machines at the station are available in five languages ​​(Japanese, Simplified Chinese/Mandarin, Traditional Chinese/Mandarin, English and Korean).

3. After exchanging this voucher for a paper ticket, designated seats can be issued.

How to reserve a designated seat:

• Find a JR ticket machine (green machine) at the station and insert your paper ticket into the slot labeled "Ticket･Commuter Pass".
• Click the "Reserve a seating" button on the upper left of the screen, and then press the "Reserve a seating using a coupon" button that lights up on the next screen.
• If you have multiple passengers, you can reserve seating for up to 4 passengers at a time. Please insert the tickets of your traveling passengers one by one and press the "Insert Complete" button at the end.
• Search for available trains and enter the departure station, arrival station, departure time or desired destination time in order. (The date of use is limited to the date written on the ticket)
• After entering all the information and confirming that it is correct, tap the "Search" button. Select the train you wish to take. Confirm again that the selected train is the one you wish to take. If it is correct, tap the "Confirm" button.
• When the buttons for selectable equipment light up, tap the button you want to select and choose the seating you want to sit in.
• After all reservation operations have been completed, please confirm the reservation details again. If confirmed, please tap the "Confirm" button and the ticket machine will issue you a ticket for the reserved designated seating.

If you redeem at the green window counter, please inform the staff of the departure time you wish to take.

※Please note that if you are unable to take the reserved seat due to it being full, the difference in price between the reserved seat and the unreserved seat will not be refunded.

※If the ticket machine is out of order or your passport does not have an IC chip, please go to the designated station green window counter to exchange for a physical ticket.

4. After successfully exchanging for the physical ticket, you can use it directly at the automatic ticket gate.

※ Reserved seat tickets can be exchanged once. Reserved seats must be exchanged separately (reserved at the green machine or green window). If the reserved seat is not available due to full seats, the difference between the unreserved seat and the reserved seat cannot be refunded. Please understand.

※The same passenger is not allowed to purchase or redeem multiple tickets within the same period. Passengers must present their passport to receive a one-way ticket.

[Refund and Change Instructions]

After exchanging the physical ticket, you can go to the green window in the station and pay the handling fee (10% of the purchase price) to cancel or change it.

※Once you have exchanged your ticket, please make a refund or change on site. We are unable to process refunds or changes.

[Purchase Qualifications]

Holders of passports issued by governments other than Japan. ※ Guests who have obtained a permanent residence permit in a foreign country or Japanese nationals do not use.

You must hold a residence status equivalent to "Temporary Visitor" ※"Temporary Visitor" is a residence status stipulated in the Immigration Control Act of Japan. Holders of student visa or work visa cannot use this.
