Expect a hands-on experience guided by knowledgeable instructors. You'll typically begin by selecting a terrarium container – a glass globe, mason jar, or other interesting vessel. Then, dive into the world of terrarium essentials like pebbles for drainage, activated charcoal for purification, and a special soil mix to create the perfect environment for your tiny plants.
The workshop will guide you through the process of arranging these elements in your terrarium. You'll have the opportunity to select a variety of miniature plants, mosses, and decorative elements like rocks and figurines to personalize your creation. With expert tips and guidance, you'll learn how to layer the terrarium for optimal plant health and visual appeal.
